Last Saturday, fulfilling one of my duties as best man, I got up at some ridiculously early hour to join Ros & Dan and their bridesmaids, Arti & Melek, for a planning visit to their wedding venue – Northbrook Park.

Back in January, Dan and Ros wanted my help in trying out an idea for their “Save The Date” cards for their June wedding.

Last week, Joey and Alice introduced me to Viet, tucked away in Soho, where we had a great girly catch up over phenomenal pho dinner.

With August being marked by the end of my Korean language classes and generally getting ready for my round-the-world trip in September here’s a couple of things that I got to do in August that didn’t make it into their own post.

After Sylvia’s & Nestor’s wedding earlier in the day, I went over to Dan’s & Ros’s apartment where I was honoured to be their first dinner guest for Ros’s cooking. And so, as was befitting of the occasion, I photographed Chef Le in action as she whipped up a fabulous meal for all of us.
