life outside the viewfinder

After all the exercise I got from snow-shoeing the previous day, it was a late start on Day 5 where I did a fleeting visit to Tokyo before hanging out with Raina back in Kasukabe.

After a good night’s sleep, Day 2 of the trip spent with hordes of kids at the Studio Ghibli Museum and then spending the afternoon at Hiromi and Takashi’s home for lunch.

In keeping with my tradition of going away at the end of January (2009 was in India / Nepal and 2008 was in Egypt), this year I went to stay with Raina in Tokyo where we had great time eating pretty much all the time!

Arriving back from Tokyo today feeling both tired from the flight yet also re-energised from all the time spent travelling too.

Getting back from Krakow on Sunday and going straight to work on Monday it’s been non-stop so taking a moment to fire off my first post of 2010 and to wish everyone a great year ahead!
