life outside the viewfinder

Before leaving for my Delhi to Kathmandu trip and before Jung-Su was due to leave the UK back for home to finish his studies and get a job (finally!), we met at Woo Jung with the girls for a farewell dinner together.

After a month of practicing various Japanese dishes from A Japanese Kitchen and JustBento.com I invited Tomoko, Jung-Su, and Yeji over to taste my attempts for my first dinner party in the new apartment.

To complete the series of firework displays that I’ve been capturing for the last week, I had planning on just going to see just the Blackheath display but also got to the Lord Mayor’s display too.

Last Saturday Jung-Su invited me along to celebrate Tomoko’s surprise birthday party which was a lot of fun. First surprise party that I’ve been to for awhile – usually it’s the dinner / drinks / party sort – so it was priceless to see the look on her face.
