Lunch By Leanne & Eugene

Completing a packed second weekend in November was a relaxing long lunch courtesy of Leanne and Eugene’s excellent cooking and hospitality.

Two weekends back Kay and Andrew invited me to join them with Leanne and Eugene to check out the farmer’s market in Queen’s Park and whilst we were there we had this brilliant breakfast at Jack’s Cafe.

Kicking off Saturday after a nice lie-in by checking out the Tapas Fantasticas festival off Brick Lane with Leanne and Eugene and happened to meet Winnie, Beatrix, Harel, Evonne, and Jamie whom I’ve not seen for a long time there too which was a happy coincidence.

After two solid weeks of just getting the final report I needed out for work on the Friday, I met up with Sylvia for drinks at Sketch (yes, I did actually drink … or should I say sip … some alcohol) to unwind. First time I’ve been there in the evening and it had a really nice chillout vibe to it which we both enjoyed.

About three weeks ago in December, Leanne and Eugene invited four of us (Kay, Andrew, Terry, and myself) around for a late Sunday lunch at their apartment in Limehouse. They really went all out and laid on a feast covering multiple cuisines ranging from Singaporean roti prata to Vietnamese rare beef salad. And to finish off all those delicious main courses was a homemade fruit crumble dessert with ice cream.
