life outside the viewfinder

After physically arriving back in London last Saturday, it’s only been until this weekend that I feel that I have mentally arrived back. Getting back to work on last Monday I got hit with a major project with a barely reasonable deadline for this week so I’ve been working flat out during the day and evenings to meet it.

With the last NYE do that I hosted being back in 2005 and since I had yet to throw a house warming party, I figured that it would be fun to combine the two to celebrate the arrival of 2009.

Going over to Dan’s apartment for a boys night in last Friday, I made pork tonkatsu for the first time and, aside from the racket I caused from pounding the pork down, it turned out pretty well.
