With Kay’s parents in town from Singapore they kindly invited Jayna and myself over for a Sunday dinner of one of their classic national dishes of Hainanese chicken rice which was simply amazing.

Taking a break from usual service to try somewhere different for Sunday lunch, I took Kay and Andrew to Yalla Yalla in Soho for Lebanese street food.

After all the ice-climbing earlier in the day, what could be better but to head over to Kay and Andrew’s new apartment for a home-cooked meal.

One weekend in early February I ended up trying out three new restaurants on three consecutive days and sated the epicurean in me.

Last month, prompted by Kay and Andrew winning tickets for the Taste of Christmas food festival, See Yun and I went along to check it out too.
