Sunday brunch places can spring up in the most surprising of places. One of these gems is Bill’s hidden within touristy Covent Garden that I had fun introducing Alice to.

Trying to find that confluence of a table reservation at a popular place with everyone’s schedule can be quixotic to say the least. So from time to time I just book a table and then work out who’s coming with me later – much easier! This time it was for Sunday lunch at the renowned Princess of Shoreditch gastropub and I was graced by Alice’s company before she was going to leave for an extended stay back home in Australia.

Putting myself in the hands of Alice for our Sunday get together she really outdid herself and introduced me to two fab food places in Spitalfields Market.

Last week, Joey and Alice introduced me to Viet, tucked away in Soho, where we had a great girly catch up over phenomenal pho dinner.
