I really hate goodbyes. The word has such a sense of finality about which I dislike even though I accept that that all good things must come to an end at some point.

After almost 10 years of Adelia promising me that she would visit me in London she finally arrived this month for a two week stay including a long weekend in Venice.

Yay! My friend Adelia is now in town. The last time we met was back in September 2006 when I was in Singapore enroute to Japan for my week-long Kysuhu trip.
