Following from a fab dinner at the Khana Commune London supper club back in August, I met up with Abdul and Fareena to take them up on their offer to show me some of the culinary highlights of their home area of Whitechapel.

As the cold weather sets in, thoughts turn to warming food and one of my favourites is the classic fish and chips. Classic in name as its surprisingly hard to find a decent version let along a damn good version.

Arbutus
Although working for a consultancy can be intense it does have its perks too with an all-expenses paid meal every now and again. Last time it was dinner at the fabulous Morito. This time we got to try the renowned Arbutus for lunch.
Kai of Mayfair
Has it already been a year? How had she done it? She being IT Girl and it being putting up with yours truly. But we had made it to this milestone and so for our 1st anniversary together we treated ourselves to our first Michelin star dining experience at Kai of Mayfair.
