Returning to my parents for reunion dinner – traditionally held on Chinese New Year’s Eve – Dad outdid his Christmas feast and served up a tremendous meal for all of us.

It’s amazing how quickly the year goes by and Christmas suddenly swings by again. But always with that warm cloak of familiarity from Christmases past spent with my parents.

What started out as a retrospective look over my posts in 2011 turned out to be the trigger for a complete overhaul of my entire website design to bring in new features for the new year.
