July Round Up

The past few months has been a whirlwind of starting a new job, making new friends, eating like crazy , and generally seeing how little sleep I can get away with without collapsing or going catatonic in the process!

As a result, my updates to this blog have been in fits and starts. Just looking at my photoset back log in Aperture I’m wondering when I’m going to get around to catching up with myself. But it’s all good and you’ll see the end of the Iceland photos as well as a ton of new restaurants I’ve been trying out.

For now though, here’s a few things that I also got up to which really should’ve gone up months ago …

  • Getting re-acquainted with an old university friend, Michael (yes, a guy!), by getting all his friends to abuse him over a pretty fab dinner at The Salt Yard
  • Having Niki, a friend I met in my Singapore days, come over to visit me
  • Taking Arti out to the South Bank to show her how to use a DSLR for this personal project she’s doing later this year
  • Bringing together new work friends from our disparate projects for a raucous dinner at Haozhan
