A month into my new role with Avanade, the girls in Core Services outdid themselves with their cake bake sale which I got to capture and, best of all, taste! I should warn you that if you’re not hungry before clicking through to the photos, you definitely will be afterwards.
All in the aid of The Prince’s Trust charity, there was quite an array of cakes, cupcakes, pies, and other sugary and chocolate goodies on offer that everyone in the building (not just my company) were spoiled for choice. And they even managed to attract passer-bys, who were impressed by the whole display, to come in and buy some too!
My favourite was the apple and cinnamon cake which apparently sold out in 30 minutes – it was that good. And at only £2 per slice / portion by the time the last cake was sold, they had raised a decent sum for a very worthy cause.
