Taste Of Christmas

Taste Of Christmas

Last month, prompted by Kay and Andrew winning tickets for the Taste of Christmas food festival, See Yun and I went along to check it out too.

Given how much we had enjoyed Taste Of London back in June, we had high expectations for this event. Smaller than the summer event and held indoors it had an entirely different feel. That aside, we loved the shrimps and pork belly from The Modern Pantry and enjoyed having Maldon rock oysters from the Bentley once again.

Also got to see my favourite chocolatier, Paul Young, do a short chocolate tasting session including a surprisingly delicious Marmite truffle as well as getting a photo of him with See Yun during his book signing. And yep, I will be trying out his chocolate recipes and might even put some weight on! :P

Overall, it was fun but I think that I’ll stick to the summer event. It was much more livelier and it’s so much better eating outside rather than the industrial chic of the Excel conference centre!
