With August being marked by the end of my Korean language classes and generally getting ready for my round-the-world trip in September here’s a couple of things that I got to do in August that didn’t make it into their own post.
- Discovering that the Hare and Tortoise served a delicious chirashi sushi which included unagi (eel) with Yvonne. [Monday 03 August]
- Walking with Caroline we stopped to listen to this musical group on Hungerford Bridge play some popular classical tunes in the evening. [Saturday 15 August]
- Meeting up with Dan and Ros to try out a new steakhouse, Lower East, which turned out to be more of style over substance. Everything looked pretty but just didn’t taste that good. And ironically, it was Ros’s monkfish that was by far the best dish. So not recommended though we still had a great catch up. [Friday 28 August]
