With Julian back in London from his latest tour of duty on his BP tanker, Yoko and him were kind enough to invite myself and Kaori, a new friend from Japan, over for Sunday breakfast at theirs.
The previous time we did this was four months ago in April and it was as delicious this time around as it was back then.
Crispy thick bacon rashers, simple pork sausages, both black and white pudding cooked through to perfection, fried eggs, sauteed mushrooms, oven-roasted cherry tomatoes, finished off with slice upon slice of toast. Yum!
Borrowing an apt quote from a friend … a damn fine 1,000 calorie meal!
My thanks to both Yoko and Julian for having us over and making Kaori feel welcome. :)
