Earlier this month with Winnie and I not having met up for a proper chat for ages, we went to try out Tierra Brindisa in Soho for dinner.

Tierra is the sister restaurant of Tapas Brindisa in London Bridge that I tried with Yingshun back in mid-May though it has a very different feel. Inside, its more spaced out and airy compared to the dark wooden squashed up feel of its origianl sister. And the menu had a different feel mixing the classics, such as the prawns above which were delicious, with other more contemporary dishes too.

Such as the whitebait which I’ve not had in a Spanish restaurant before and the special of  seasoned lamb cutlet with piqullo pepper which was better than I had expected.

Overall, it was an alright effort by Brindisa with my preference still to travel to the the original or to Barrafina if I’m craving Spanish in Soho.
