Korea – Busan

Following a fun day trip to Chunju Lake, here’s the third photo set covering my journey to Jung-Su’s home town of Busan on the south coast where I’d be staying with him and his family for three nights.

Some of the highlights were:

  • Meeting Kristina who works in my company’s representative office in Seoul
  • Speeding through the heart of Korea on the KTX high-speed train running at 300 km per hour versus the paltry 200 km  per hour in the UK
  • Chilling out by the sea at Hae-undae beach
  • Experiencing a proper local delicacy of whe (raw fish) though I couldn’t somehow stomach eating the still-moving sea slug!
  • Meeting Jung-Su’s parents who welcomed me into their home and were extremely hospitable

Coming up next … a day trip to the historic city of Gyeongju followed by attending a local baseball match back in Busan.
