Hurrah … packing is kinda done and I’m off to Seoul for a week. Got my passport renewed since the old one was getting close to expiry and it was fun flicking through the pages and reminding myself of where I’ve been to.
One of these days I’m going to break my tradition of staying up all night before my outbound flight. Not sure if it’s procrastination about getting ready, the excitement of going away again keeping me buzzing, my way of dealing with jet lag by having to sleep on the plane from completely exhaustion or the sheer terror that I’ve forgotten something critical … but whatever it is, it’s part of my departure ritual now.
Whilst I’m a little sad that my new passport is so empty it’s been great fun looking at my world map thinking on how to fill all the blank pages with new places that I’ve yet to explore.
But right now, time for me to crash and get a few hours before I head to Korea for a week. Looking forward to seeing Yeji, Jung-Su and Min once again … as well as getting stuck into all the superb food out there. See you when I’m back with hopefully some great photos and stories to match too.
