Lately at work the girls in the other team on our floor (Operations) have been doing quite a bit of baking and today, she even made me a special lactose-free carrot and apple cake that both smelled and tasted divine. A superb afternoon pick-me-up.
All this baking has been lead off by our wonderful departmental EA, Tarique, and it reached a crescendo with an charity bake sale that she organised . So some of the Ops girls baked and everyone donated money for each slice of home made cake. From which a very respectable total of £120 was raised … in addition to all the extra time now needed in the gym to work it all off!!!
