Delhi to Kathmandu – Orchha – Part 2

Image above: A photographer looking at himself in the eyes of what he sees. [Wednesday 28 January]

Completing Part 1 that I posted late last night, here’s the second photo set on Orchha.

Some of the highlights were:

  • Enjoying the solitude and quiet beauty of Lakshminarayan Temple
  • Walking through the surrounding villages and school meeting and entertaining a load of kids
  • Being randomly taken through the wheat fields by a local kid who wanted show me a shrine on the other side of Jahangir Mahal palace
  • Visiting a local housewife and being given a lesson in how to make some delectable Indian dishes
  • Seeing so many people crashed out at Jhansi station waiting for their train

Coming up next will be the first day sailing / rowing down the River Ganges.
