Delhi to Kathmandu – Kathmandu

Eleven photo sets later, here’s the twelfth and final photo set getting to our final destination of Kathmandu.

Some of the highlights were:

  • Captivated by the beauty of the Terai lowlands as we travelled though and up the valleys to reach Kathmandu
  • Having a front seat view of all the near-death misses we encountered on the narrow mountain roads
  • Taking in the significance at seeing first-hand Swayambhunath temple (revered in Buddhism) and Pashupatinath temple (revered in Hinduism)
  • Wandering through the bustling streets of Indra Chowk and witnessing all the life around me
  • Appreciating the nucleus of history and culture that is Durbar Square in the heart of Kathmandu

And that’s it … at least for that trip. Thanks for your patience both in the sheer amount of time it’s taken to everyone published and for going through all 287 photos I eventually whittled it down to. Now onwards with the next trip. ^^
