Whilst the party on New Year’s Eve was to celebrate the arrival of 2009, it was also a long overdue (since I had moved in three months ago!) house warming party as well.
And although it was enough for me to have my friends come over to see the place, two of them were kind enough to do something more and get me house warming presents as well which was a cool surprise.
Winnie got me a gift card from Habitat so, with the idea of doing more dinner parties in the months ahead, I decided on the four serving plates shown in the photo above. And Sissi got me this cute Jamie Oliver combined teapot and cup set below which is going to go well with the loose leaf tea I’ll be getting.
