Tuesday 30 September
Rising early to check out the local fruit and fish market before climbing the Campanile di San Marco to get an amazing early morning view of the Venice arrayed below.
The rest of the afternoon was spent wandering through Cannaregio and the Jewish Ghetto quarter before taking the flight back home.
