I really hate goodbyes. The word has such a sense of finality about which I dislike even though I accept that that all good things must come to an end at some point. Hopefully later rather than sooner but at some point. I much prefer “until next time” because there can be a next time.
Over the past few weeks it’s been an flurry of friends leaving London for back home or just hitting a new country to live in. But with all the IM, Facebook, Skype, and good old-fashioned phone call, there’s no reason not to keep in touch. You just have to want to. :)

Now I just need to figure out which friend to hop onto a plane and visit first – so kinda thinking Sam in South Africa since I’ve not been there before and it’s actually summer there now … not rainy as in London!
