Coffee & Cake

With the hustle and bustle of life and endless to-do lists, there is something to said for simply taking a break from all of that to enjoy great food with great company.

So here are two separate occasions. These first two are from Sunday 05 October where I joined Kay and her friends for dim sum at the reliable Laureate and, courtesy of a wish by Eugene to have a flat white, we all decamped to the Milk Bar to get one.

And these last two are from today where I finally caught up with Bela, Chi, and Andrew over some sumptuous roast duck at Four Seasons in Chinatown. After that, the boys wanted black forest gateaux so we carried on the catch-up at Patisserie Valerie where, to my surprise, I found an orange chocolate croissant! Not as good as the one I discovered in Seoul but hey – didn’t think that such a version existed in London so that was cool.

@Bela: Looking forward to taking you up on your offer of a home-cooked me. Just let us know when!
